Most celebrities kept their ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to a basic tub of water.
But
Kate Hudson was having none of that, and instead allowed an entire team
of friends and family to dump icy water over her head as she took part
in the charitable social media act on Sunday.
The
35-year-old How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days actress giggled and squealed
her way through the challenge in a tight pants and tiny (soaked) tank
top.
Dedicated to the cause: Kate Hudson took on the
ALS Ice Bucket Challenge on Sunday and had multiple friends and family
pouring cold water on her at once
The fit star showed off her toned tummy by wearing only a cream tank top tied up high, with a pink sports bra beneath.
With
her long blonde tresses out, she told the camera that she was taking on
the challenge as nominated by Zach Braff, Derek Hough and her friend
Erin Foster as she jiggled about, clearly nervous in anticipation of the
liquid onslaught ahead of her.
In trouble: The 35-year-old Almost Famous star
was not at all spared by her friends who dumped as much water on her as
they could
And when the time came, everybody was ready.
Multiple adults and children came forth to tip buckets of all shapes and sizes over the Almost Famous star's head.
Kate
immediately began shrieking and giggling as the water continued to
come, drenching her in what looked to be a large field of some kind.
But one bucket was clearly enough for the beauty, who instinctively ran away as soon as it was poured.
She was subsequently chased through the grass by her relentless friends.
Run! Kate scooted away from the buckets of icy
water but she was still chased relentlessly as she giggled and squealed
'okay, okay!'
Two of her chasers appeared as though they may have been her sons, Ryder 10, and Bingham, three.
Once the soaking was over, Kate remembered to mention her next nominees, and picked her mother Goldie Hawn, her Fool's Gold co-star Matthew McConaughey, and her fiance Matt Bellamy's band Muse.

Kate
has recently finished promoting her latest movie, Zach Braff's Wish I
Was Here, and is clearly taking a little time on the weekends to spend
with friends and family.
The mother-of-two recently spoke about how she leads an 'unconventional' life.
Make it stop! The famous daughter of Goldie Hawn
begged for it to stop but later nominated her mother, Matthew
McConaughey and all of Muse - her fiance's band - to take part
Kate
insists her life is far from normal but she tries to make sure her
children, Ryder, 10, whom she has with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and
Bingham, three, with Matt, have strict rules in place.
Speaking
on chat show The View, she said: 'I have two kids. I wouldn't say I'm
conventional, but what is conventional these days? I've got two children
from two different fathers, so that's unconventional. I'm a strict
parent; I'm strict when it comes to manners.
'I think kids get too much too fast. Ryder wants a cell phone, he can get a pager - when he's 12.'
She and Matt have been engaged since 2011.
Down time: Kate Hudson has just finished
promoting her latest flick Wish I Was Here, and was seen here at the New
York City premiere in July
The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is an initiative which aims to raise money and awareness of the neurodegenerative disease, also known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
ALS damages the brain and spinal chord resulting in progressive paralysis.
Nominees can either accept the challenge and donate $10 to the ALS Association, or reject the offer and donate $100.
Many celebrities have proved good sports, however, opting to both take on the challenge and also donate.
