TAKING a tumble in the street is up there with tucking your skirt into your undies on the list of most embarrassing moments.

But we think falling while performing in front of hundreds of fans – all with camera phones – has to be even more mortifying.

Poor Iggy Azalea was left red-faced when she took an epic tumble off stage while performing at an MTV benefit gig in Los Angeles.

The Aussie rapper was performing her hit single Fancy with Charli XCX when she lost her footing at the edge of the stage.

After walking backwards away from Charli, she turned to face the audience – but dropped off stage instead.

Now, if that happened to us, we would curl into a ball, crawl off and try and assume a new identity, but Iggy was such a professional that she hardly even missed a beat in the song.

And in an effort to insist that she was totes not embarrassed by the incident (yeah, right), the curvaceous 24-year-old even shared a clip of her fall to her Instagram account.

Iggy joked: "Sorry but it would be a crime not to share this with you all, I know I laughed. #StillFinishedtheSongTho #KeptOnRapping #TheShowMustGoOn."

The bootylicious blonde is set to perform her duet with Rita Ora, Black Widow, tomorrow night at the MTV Video Music Awards.
