A man in his mid-20s was stabbed in the chest, abdomen and arm and rushed to Sunnybrook Hospital in critical, but stable condition Friday night. A man and a woman were arrested within 20 minutes of the stabbing.
Two suspects were
quickly apprehended by police after a man in his mid-20s was stabbed
multiple times in Brampton Friday night, according to Peel Regional
Police.
Police responded to a call around 11:30 p.m. on Eastbourne Dr., near Clark Blvd. and Torbram Rd.
Paramedics said the
man was stabbed in the chest, abdomen and arm and was rushed to
Sunnybrook Hospital in critical, but stable condition.
“Two people have been
arrested, a male and a female, in relation to the stabbing” said police
spokesperson Const. Lilly Fitzpatrick.
“They were arrested
within 20 minutes of the stabbing,” she said, adding the suspects are
currently in custody at 22 Division on Hurontario St.
Police are still looking for witnesses and are asking the public to call police at 905-453-2121 if they have any information.
