Cara Delevingne's acting career seems to be going from strength to strength - just like her modelling career (she's just made Forbes' list of the 21 highest-paid models of 2014).
The British model is currently filming her role as a mermaid in Joe Wright's Pan, due out next year, but has reportedly already lined up her next role - and this time it's a leading part.
Thewrap.com reports that the 22-year-old is considering the starring female role in All Summer Long, a musical film set to the sounds of The Beach Boys.
The film is being produced by Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, who were behind the hit big-screen adaptations of Hairspray and Chicago. Similar to Mamma Mia!, the script by Susannah Grant is a fictional story written to compliment The Beach Boys's back catalogue.
Delevingne wouldn't be out of her depth in a musical; she recorded demos with Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller when she was just 16, and has reportedly been looking to ignite a fully-fledged music career recently with the help of Simon Cowell.
The Brit has five films due for release - London Fields, The Face of an Angel, Kids in Love, Tulip Fever, and Pan - over the next 12 months.
