Here's a look behind-the-scenes at Ubisoft Montreal and Toronto where the newest addition to the AC franchise, Assassin's Creed Unity, is being made
Assassins Creed Unity is coming - and what better way to celebrate than to get behind the scenes and see what's really going on.
While ACU contains some groundbreaking gaming technology, its creators also called on some special effects usually reserved for movies like the The Hobbit - motion capture.
"The process works like a movie; we cast the actors and they get suited up with markers," explains Felix Rocque, Cutscenes Director.
In order to create the scenes in the game, actors perform the cutscenes in their entirely with props, and once recorded, the scene is then imported into the setting of the game.
Assassins Creed Unity is out on October 28th.
